School came to a close here! This means our summer meetups are here as well! Come join us, The Dandelion Club, for our summer season with park play dates and ladies’ nights.
This summer, we’re going to meet with our kids and without them. We’ll welcome new friends who move to the area and we’ll connect with those who have been around Fort Belvoir for a bit.
Maybe you’re like me (Abby) in that when you arrived to Fort Belvoir during a summer PCS, loneliness was quick to set in. For me, there didn’t seem to be much to plug into or ways to make friends as I was pregnant and chasing a young two year old. Could you help us change that for some families moving here and welcome them by attending what you can of our summer season? It’s sure to be a great time and always great to “make new friends and keep the old!”
If you’d like to take a step further and help us organize these dates, let us know. We are creating teams for each date as we know most of us will travel at various times throughout the summer.
I, Abby Feltz (Leader) am grateful for co-leaders this summer. Jillian Reeder will co-lead the park meetups and Heidi Hovan will co-lead the moms’ nights.
The Dandelion Club is a Christian ministry sponsored by the Fort Belvoir Religious Services Organization.

The Dandelion Club is in search of new leadership starting this fall as I (Abby) am moving at the end of the year. In order for The Dandelion Club to continue, we need new leadership. If you would like to consider any of the following positions, please let Abby, Jillian, or Heidi know.
